Who is Jimmy?

For years working as a Graphic Designer I was immersed in a world of images with their power to precisely communicate a message. In this environment a passion for photography developed that even eclipsed my love for design work.
I wanted to create and capture these images myself. This desire met the practical need of my clients who were beginning to require not only design but also original photography, thus Jimmy Too
was born!

Occasionally I get a phone call from someone looking for a ‘Mr Too’. I tell them that it sounds like they have mistaken me for a tiny Japanese man and whilst I enjoy sushi I am not he. I then explain that Jimmy is the name I bestowed upon my very first camera, an early Canon SLR. Jimmy became my constant and faithful companion on adventures in over thirty countries – he even captured my first solo exhibition. Thanks to my first camera, Jimmy, I am now working as a photographer and I still do design … too.

About

Jimmy Too fuses design and photography with respect for humanity.
A place where inspired ideas and a shared passion embrace in order to produce a complete creative solution.

At Jimmy Too we produce innovative design concepts across a range of print based and online media including brochures, branding, product packaging as well as websites and banner ads. We can inject life into an existing brand or campaign or we can start fresh with a completely new direction. This design work combines with our passion and excellence in producing both moving and still photographic images that are natural, emotional and genuine. Our work with images often has a strong focus on portraiture unlocking the unspoken story behind each individual.

This total design and photography approach, from capturing the right image to unique design and creative printing, means that your message and vision can be effectively communicated across all campaign material. Along the way, our aim is to create an enjoyable experience with genuine soul and growing relationships that go beyond that of ‘client and creative partner’ to one of true friendship.

Creative Aid for Charities and NFP's

At Jimmy Too we respect the ancient African philosophy of ‘Ubuntu’ - that humanity is interconnected - and we embrace the generosity that flows from this understanding. If we don’t exist in isolation and what we do flows out to the whole world, then we are more inclined to help those who are struggling.

These thoughts inspired our Creative Aid program which provides practical help where it is most critically needed – in assisting community groups, aid organisations, government agencies, and not-for-profits to gain maximum support through effective advertising. With creativity, strategy and shared passion, we empower our partners to build a brighter future.

We understand that whilst the cost of branding, in terms of time and cash, may seem prohibitive, the cost of not being recognised and heard could be far greater. We work with you to develop campaigns and materials that will enhance your communications, fundraising and advocacy efforts all within your budget.

The Creative Aid program has produced national campaigns for ‘Cappuccino For A Cause’ at Gloria Jeans and Uncle Toby’s ‘Swim and Survive’ for Royal Life Saving, plus local fundraising events and emotionally charged photographic exhibitions.

If your organisation is in need of some Creative Aid, then we would love to meet you and discuss how we can help.
